From all the teams that use ERIC Sports as their video analysis software, today we want to talk about the superb season performed by Fútbol Club Barcelona’s roller hockey team.

After a 2014/2015 of great success obtaining 3 titles, the team faced the first title of the season, the Continental Cup, in mid-october against Sporting Portugal after becoming European champions the previous season. Fútbol Club Barcelona claimed the title after brilliantly overcoming a score of 2-0 for the Portuguese team in the 1st leg, to finally win by a convincing 5-1 in the 2nd leg, getting the first title of the season.

The next challenge that the team faced was the Spanish Supercup, two weeks after the Continental Cup. They beated Moritz C.E. Vendrell in the semifinals with serious problems by a tight score of 4-3. In the final match the team played against the powerful team H.C. Liceo, and claimed their second title of the season in a thrilling match by a score of 6-5.

The following trophy to be played was the King’s Cup, to which FCB Hockey qualified after being in the top-8 of the Spanish league. In the first round, they overwhelmed Igualada Calaf Grup by 8-0. In the semi-finals, the team beated easily C.E. Noia Freixenet by a score of 6-1. Finally, they got their third trophy of the season after beating Club Patí Vic in the final by 4-1 in a match they always had under control.

In the meantime, in the Spanish League, they started off somewhat dubious with two defeats in the first 5 matches. Eventually these two defeats would be the only they suffered throught the league. The team came back with 7 consecutive wins, and after a draw in matchday 13 they did not stop wining until they reached the championship three matches before the end of the league, putting the finishing touch to an almost perfect season.

4 titles out of 5 played is the balance of this user of ERIC Sports. Will they be able to repeat it next season? Will they top it? We will keep on working to help them do it.
